Nina Vara-Rosas

Nina Vara-Rosas is a 20-year-old watercolor painter and illustrator born and raised in Miami with Argentine and Puerto Rican roots, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Art History at SCAD. Influenced by her family’s rich artistic background—a carpenter father, a mother who studied fine art, a well-known boriquen artist grandfather—further inspire her appreciation for the arts and the value of craftsmanship. Nina has worked 3 consecutive years at Design Miami as brand ambassador and was a gallery assistant at the Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami.

Vara Arte’s mission is to showcase the potential of young artists in the digital age. Nina aims to give her fellow Gen Z artists a platform to shine, popularizing them in the art world and promoting their particularly fresh perspectives in an ever-changing world. Vara Arte focuses on exhibiting works created during this innovative age, adapting to the rise of AI by emphasizing the irreplaceable value of human creativity by working together with technology, not against it.

Vara Arte’s vision strives to break industry barriers by making Gen-Z art more accessible to the general public, imbedding it into the social framework on an international scale and creating a platform for young artists. Focusing on raw, real and untapped contemporary artists, Vara Arte advocates for viewing art not just as a luxury, but as an enhancement to everyday life.
